Science Songs Book Series
Project description: Picture Window Books "Science Songs" books contain lyrics to new educational songs. The melodies of popular songs were changed to lyrics that teach students basic science concepts. The ideas of music and science were incorporated together in this design.
Role in Project: Concepted series, created illustration schedule, wrote illustration notes to illustrator, designed cover and interior, made illustration adjustments, and kept project on deadline. Fun, lively colors, were used and the integration of music and science can be seen thought series.

Freaky Facts Book Series
Project description: Series published by Picture Window Books. The books in the "Freaky Facts" series contain many different facts about various subjects. These subjects include: Animals, Earth, Money, and the Human Body.
Role in Project: Planned illustrations and communicated subject matter to illustrator, designed cover and interior, met project deadlines, and got file ready to be sent to production. The cover and interior were designed to be bright and bold making them appealing to students. The goal was to have the design be unique so they stand out on the library shelves.

Our American Story Book Series
Project description: This Picture Window Books series, "Our American Story", covers United States history topics.
Role in Project: Created series concept and design for cover and interior, researched subject to provide accurate illustration notes, and kept project on track. Because of the subject matter, series was designed with slightly worn and antique feel. Worn pattern and detailed artwork can be found throughout each title.

What's the Difference Book Series
Project description: The Picture Window Books "What's the Difference" series goes into detail about the differences between very similar animals.
Role in Project: Created detailed illustration notes, made art adjustments, designed front and back cover, and kept series on track. Cover shows the two separate animals, but yet look like they could be in the same environment. Natural textures are used to compliment the detailed and bright watercolor medium.

Max Interactive Books
Project description: Picture Window Books "Max" series. Existing series was converted to interactive titles.
Role in Project: Designed interactive book packaging, both the CD jacket and CD. Used elements from existing titles but rearranged to fit the new format.
